Rehearsal Location & Time
St. James Lutheran Church 1380 Waukegan Road in Lake Forest, ILlinois.
Every MONDAY evening from 7:00-8:45 p.m. from SEPTEMBER to MID-JUNE. (Building opens at 6:30 p.m.)
New singers are welcome throughout the season! 20 new singers have joined since September 2021.
Not Swedish? Is Swedish is new to you? No worries! We provide plenty of support with song translations and pronunciation.
Our director will pair you with a member in your voice section. Our music librarian will give you a music packet of our songs and, if Swedish is new to you, a pronunciation cheat sheet.
New singers may request access to the current SGC repertoire on YouTube (recorded by other choruses) here.
And, we follow safe-singing guidelines: The rehearsal space is large and well-ventilated. Our chorus is fully vaccinated.
St. James is on the west side of Waukegan Rd. approximately one mile south of Route 176. Parking and entrance are behind the building.
